The present study was conducted in 17 dogs with mandibular or/and maxillary fractures (n=30). 52.9% dogs suffering from mandibular fracture were under 1 yr of age. The most common cause of fracture was automobile accident (64.7%) followed by dog bite (17.6%). Common site of fracture was molar region (33%) followed by premolar region (26%). Orthopedic wiring and bone plating were found successful in repair of mandibular fracture with minimal complication.
