Abstract

The locking compression plate was used for stabilization of lumbar vertebral fracture in six clinical cases of dogs. All the dogs were subjected to different physiological, neurological and radiographic examination, on the day of presentation and on 7, 15, 30, 45 and 60th day post-fixation. The results showed that four out of the six cases had clinical recovery and there were no significant alterations in physiological parameters before and after vertebral stabilization.
