Abstract

The present report describes the clinical signs, diagnosis and surgical management of six cattle with intussusception. The rectal examination was effective in diagnosing intussusception and general anaesthesia facilitated exteriorization of intestine and enteroanastomosis. End to end enteroanastamosis with simple interrupted sutures using polyglactin 910 suture provided leak free closure without any untoward postoperative complications.
