The present study was conducted on eight clinical cases of foot affections in captive elephants treated with cryotherapy using liquid nitrogen application by swab method. Clinicophysiological parameters did not reveal any significant change while non-significant variation in hematobiochemical parameters was recorded during the observation period. It was concluded that swab method of cryotherapy can be used safely for management of foot affections in elephants.
