A retrospective analysis (August 2015 to February 2017) was done to record the incidence and distribution of pigmentary keratopathy in dogs. During the period, 90 cases (162 corneas) of pigmentary keratopathy were recorded and the occurrence was more in males (69%) with more number of cases in dogs aged 1–5 yr. Breed wise occurrence was maximum in pugs (87.7%). Schirmer tear test (STT), fluorescein dye test (FDT), Rose Bengal stain and slit lamp biomicroscopy were done. Clinically, pigmentary keratopathy was graded as mild (58 eyes), moderate (32 eyes), severe (36 eyes) and complete (36 eyes) based on degree of pigmentation. Therapeutic management was carried out using different concentrations of topical cyclosporine A with lubricant eye drops based on severity of the condition.
