Canine Transmissible Venereal Tumour (CTVT) is a common tumour affecting dogs of both sexes. In the present study, the efficacy of vincristine sulphate and doxorubicin hydrochloride was compared for chemotherapy in 16 clinical cases (including both male and female) of CTVT. The results indicated higher therapeutic efficacy of vincristine sulphate as compared to doxorubicin hydrochloride as confirmed by histopathological examination.
