The study was conducted to assess the morphological, biometric and radiological changes of the deformed hooves in six culled breeding bulls aged 6 to 7 yr, slaughtered at Meat Technology Unit, Mannuthy. Hoof length, heel height and hoof angle were measured in all the lateral and medial claws of both forelimbs and hind limbs. Digital area of the hoof samples were subjected to computed radiography for evaluation of bone and joint lesions and the hooves were trimmed for identification of hoof lesions. Altered hoof measurements and radiographic changes were suggestive of hoof disorders in culled breeding bulls.
