In the present study, interventional gastroscopy was evaluated in 20 clinical cases of various gastric affections, which were non-responding to conventional medical treatment, in dogs. The findings revealed that ingestion of foreign body was the most common gastric affection followed by gastric erosion, ulceration, haemorrhage and chronic gastritis. Interventional gastroscopy was effective non-invasive technique for foreign body retrieval and gastric haemostasis.
