The study was conducted on the surgical cases presented from Feb. 2015 to April 2016. The hospital incidence of fractures in animals was 12.92% of all surgical cases; with highest in equine (25.92%), followed by canines (13.00%) and bovine (12.53%). Sex wise fractures were more in male bovines, and female dogs and horses. The young (<1 yr) dogs (67.88%) and adult bovines (45%) and horses (57.14%) were more frequently affected. Automobile accident was the major cause of fracture in dogs (41.28%) and horses (28.57%), whereas in bovine it was fall/ jump from height (47.50%). The most frequently fractured bone was femur in dogs (33.02%), tibia in bovines (27.50%) and metacarpus in horses (28.57%).
