Two dogs aged 7 and 12 months presented with signs of fractures of radius and ulna were treated with elastic stable intramedullary nailing technique (ESIN) using stainless steel elastic nails under general anaesthesia. Postoperatively plaster of Paris cast was applied for 15 days in both the cases for external support. Periodic clinical and radiographic evaluations were made at two weeks interval for a period of eight weeks. Both the dogs showed uneventful recovery with early return to limb function.
