Trigonella foenum-graecum (fam: Fabacecae) has an extensive range of therapeutic applications and its herbal medicinal exploitation has been clear in profuse studies. Fenugreek has conventionally been regarded as a safe and well tolerated herb with many benefits. Seeds of fenugreek abound in flavonoids, amino acids, mucilage sugars, proteins, vitamin C, etc. and are used for several indications, including labor stimulation, aiding digestion, and as a broad-spectrum stimulant to recuperate metabolism and health. Its beneficial prospects have tempted the investigators to study various pharmagonostic traits.
