A Study of Employee Moonlighting in Present Scenario

Abstract

The present employment scenario is full of uncertainties and instability. The present workforce does not want to confine themselves to a single job. Now, the employees wish to work in multiple types of jobs so as to have additional income and stability in the job. This phenomenon is called ‘employee moonlighting’. There are myriads of reasons responsible for employee moonlighting. This paper focuses on different types of moonlighting – the issues behind it and its impact on the organisation.
