Abstract

Thiabendazole entrapped chitosan xanthan gum nanoparticles were synthesized and evaluated for the Aspargillus parasiticus. Synthesis of nanoparticles was done by ionotropic gelation method and optimization was done by central composite design. Concentration of polymers affected the particle size and zeta potential of the particles. In vitro release studies of the thiabendazole were done. Further the nanoformulation shows better results as compared to the pure thiabendazole.
