Management education could play a fundamental role in social uplift and boost the commercial zeal in a vibrant society. B-schools face various challenges in terms of communicating standard education. External environment factors and stakeholders continuously put high expectations on the B-schools to adapt the changes in their teaching pedagogy and course curriculum to incorporate happenings in the business world. The speedy trend of globalization and technological movements has made difficult for organizations to survive in the competitive world; henceforth, need of management education has increased in many folds. Corporate professionals need to update their skills due to swift changes in the external surroundings. In order to meet the challenges of the future, the restructuring of the management education could not be avoided. Management institutions and B-school need to endeavour to make balance between the education fees and the quality. This paper is about discussing the changing scenario of management education industry in a general perspective to highlight various challenges and trends making this sector more attractive and competitive.
