This paper presents Soli, a new generation, low-power, high-resolution and gesture-sensing technology for human-computer interface. This device introduces a whole new level of interacting with the daily life device or appliances we used earlier, with the simplest gesture which a user can remember. The Soli comprises of the radar design principles, high-temporal resolution gesture tracking, a hardwar. abstraction layer, a solid-state radar chip and system architecture, interaction models and gesture vocabularies and gesture recognition.
