A 23.5 years old male Bengal tiger in Chittagong zoo of Bangladesh was identified as dull, depressed and anorexic but with normal temperature. Fecal flotation and blood smears were negatives for parasites. The tiger was treated with intravenous ampicillin and oral rehydration solution but there was no improvement in its clinical condition. The tiger died seven (7) days after the onset of clinical signs. Postmortem examination revealed a large cyst (10 cm x 6cm) in the right lung and several small nodular (average diameter 1 cm x 1 cm) masses in the liver.
