Abstract

The present study was conducted to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of a combination of Amitraz and Ivermectin in twelve Ongole calves affected with sarcoptic mange. The combined treatment with Amitraz and Ivermectin provided excellent results. In mild, localized infections recovery was observed within 3 weeks. Calves with generalized infection required almost 6 treatments for complete recovery at weekly intervals.
