The mortality in age group of 0–30 days in an organized sector (13.6%) was highest. Sex-wise mortality study reveals that the female mortality rate (13.19%) was higher than the male (9.59%) but did not differ significantly. The highest mortality was due to pneumonia (52.97%) followed by pneumoenteritis (18.32%), enteritis (8.91%), parasitic (7.43%) and other causes (10.89%). Highest mortality was observed in summer season (29.41%) and monsoon season (18.32%).
