Abstract

A case of obstructive obstructive in a lamb and a tube cystotomy was performed using a polythene catheter is reported and discussed. Post-operatively, the lamb remained in good health and was discharged with the cystotomy catheter in situ. On twenty one day following the lamb was noted to pass urine through its urethra. On twenty seven days following surgery the catheter became dislodged and the lamb was observed to urinate normally. Administrations of combination therapy along with tablet cystone were resulted in speedy recovery.
