A case of feline ehrlichiosis is described and discussed in this report. Four month old female kitten was referred at the hospital with a five-day history of anorexia, prostration, lethargy and dyspnoea.. Detailed clinical examination revealed weakness, lethargy, dullness, vomiting, recumbancy, hypothermia (94.8° F), dyspnoea, tachycardia, pale mucus membrane, watery faeces, marked dehydration, low haemoglobin (6.8, g/dl), neutrophilia with shift to left, lympho penia and intracytoplasmic inclusions in neutrophils resembling with those of granulocytic ehrlichia in dogs. Treatment with fluid therapy, steroid, vitamin B-complex and doxycycline was promising.
