A case of grain overload in a goat was diagnosed on the basis of history, associated clinical signs and laboratory findings. Treatment included oral and systemic alkalizers, anti-histaminics, calcium borogluconate, oral antibiotics, luxatives, rumenotorics, fluid and electrolyte infusions and supportive medication for several days. The successful management of the case with prompt therapeutic approach and good supportive care was recorded.
