Anticoagulant baits of rodenticides are extremely effective in killing rodents and lethal to non targeted species like canine that accidentally ingest it. A two year old pomeranian dog was presented with history of epistaxis, vomition and ingestion of poisoned rodents with rodenticide (bromadiolone). Clinical examination showed elevated body temperature, heart and respiratory rates. The case was successfully treated with fluid therapy, vitamin K, antiemetic and nervine tonic and recovery after three days treatment.
