Abstract

The report describes congestive heart failure in two dogs presented for treatment. A 14 year old pomeranian with nocturnal cough, cardiomegaly and pulmonary edema suggestive of congestive heart failure (CHF) was free from cough for 10 months with digoxin, enalapril and furosemide. A two year old Labrador presented in advanced CHF (Severe dyspnoea, restlessness, cardiomegaly and severe pulmonary edema) succumbed 10 hours later.
