Abstract

A Doberman dog was reported with signs suspecting urinary calculi and obstruction. The palpation of abdomen indicated presence of full urine. Catheterization was used as a tool to locate the site of obstruction which was coudally to the os penis. Considering the emergency, performed the urethrotomy usually at prescrotal region by which the patient achieved uneventful recovery.
