Clinical Management of Repeat Breeding Syndrome in Bovines

In the study, thirty six bovines (27 buffaloes and 9 cows) were enrolled with history of cycling normally without any clinical abnormalities and returned to estrus even after three or more consecutive inseminations. The animals were treatment with Ciprofloxacin and Tinidazole combination after confirming as repeat breeders based on consistency and pH of vaginal discharges. The animals were inseminated on subsequent estrous. The conception rates were 70.37% and 77.78% respectively for buffaloes and cows confirming efficacy of Ciprofloxacin and Tinidazole combination in field conditions.
