Congenital abnormalities in bovine fetuses are encountered in various forms resulting due to constitutional disorder and functional abnormality. A newly born male cow calf with protruded visceral organs through the umbilical area was reported for treatment and treated surgically. Diagnosis was based on history and clinical observation which revealed it as congenital evisceration of intestine. The abdominal defect was managed by radical surgically. Post-operatively, the calf was administered broad spectrum antibiotic, analgesic along with supportive therapy including intravenous infusion, B-complex, nervine tonic and antiseptic dressing till complete recovery.
