Therapeutic management of Theileriosis in milch animals -A Report of Two cases

Theileriosis, a tick borne protozoan disease was found associated with fever, history of post calving and confirmed via blood smear examination in two crossbred milch animals. The cases were treated with buparvaquone (single dose), oxytetracycline (for three days), iron parenteral, vitamin B-complex (for four days) as supportive and restorative. The animals recovered successfuly.
