Abstract

A buffalo calf was presented with history of sudden onset of generalized papilloma with bleeding and rubbing several parts of the body due to irritation of the papillomatous wounds. Treatment was initiated with Lithium antimony thiomalate weekly for four consecutive weeks and ranitidine tablets @ 4 mg/kg TID for three weeks along with supportive antibiotic and analgesic therapy. Animal showed improvement after anthiomaline and ranitidine therapy. The results indicate that anthiomaline and ranitidine therapy is effective against cutaneous papillomatosis.
