Abstract

A Labrador Retriever dog was brought with history of foreign body ingestion along with meal but without any symptoms of gastroenteritis or gastrointestinal obstruction. The presence of stone in the stomach was confirmed via radiography and ultrasonography. Gastrotomy was performed through cranial midline incision and stone was removed. Early diagnosis and successful surgical intervention saved the life of the dog.
