Successful treatment of chronic respiratory disease in a three months old red-eared slider turtle is described. The turtle had a month old history of respiratory noises, mucoid nasal discharges and difficult breathing. The radiographs revealed presence of fluid in the lungs and abdominal cavity. The animal was treated with oral enrofloxacin and multivitamin supplements for one week. The animal responded well and showing marked clinical improvement which was supported by radiographic findings.
