Abstract

Two pluriparous pregnant crossbred Jersey cows with lameness, pain, inappetance and presence of black spot in the white line region of hoof along with seperation of hoof wall confirming white line disease. The animals were treated with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and mineral supplementation along with wound dressing and copper sulphate footbath. Avoiding moist condition and ensuring care lead to uneventful recovery.
