Abstract

Hamstringing due to malicious cutting of achilles tendon was reported in a racing bull. The tendon sheath was ruptured with intact point of hock. The cut ends of the achilles tendon were sutured using bunnell mayer suture pattern. Weight bearing was observed after 8 months with normal recovery.
