A four year old mongrel dog with complete and oblique fracture of olecranon on right forelimb was presented for treatment. The fractured site was brought in close apposition manually and then immobilised by intramedullary pinning (internal fixation) technique. The whole limb was immobilized by POP cast bandaging along with modified Thomas splint. After 21 days POP cast and Thomas splint was removed. The animal showed proper maintenance of fixation and normal course of fracture healing without any complication.
