A case of wild black buck with complete proximal tibial fracture of left leg was treated with intramedullary pinning along with external Thomas splint provided anatomical alignment and stable fixation. As the intramedullary pin was driven completely into the medulary cavity, no complications were observed avoiding handling of the animal for pin and suture removal.
