Surgical Management of Oesophageal Diverticulum in a Cow

Oesophageal diverticulum was diagnosed in a nine years old cow characterized clinically by anorexia, salivation, absence of defecation and swelling at ventro-lateral aspect of middle cervical region. Treatment consisted of surgical correction of diverticulum, feed management and post-operative antibiotics. The animal recovered uneventfully.
