A day old indigenous calf was presented with inability to stand and suck her mother since birth. History, clinical and biochemical examination revealed calf involved in a dystocia and remained in cold weather for a long time without proper management and had hypothermia and hypoglycemia. The calf was treated with intravenous fluid, supportive vitamin therapy and meloxicam to yield a satisfactory result.
