Therapeutic Efficacy of Eprinomectin pour-on against Tick Infestation - A Report of 24 bovines

Abstract

Therapeutic efficacy of Eprinomectin pour on was evaluated in 24 bovines (18 cattle + 6 buffaloes) infested with Boophilus spp. and Hyalomma spp. of ticks. Single application of Eprinomectin pour on was able to eliminate 76.09% and 94.98% of tick infestation on 3rd and 7th day post treatment. Post-treatment efficacy and non re-infestation upto 21 day post treatment confirmed efficacy of endectocide.
