Present study was conducted on the forty clinical cases of contagious ecthyma, in which majority of animals were young. Young animals showed clinical signs viz dullness, depression, anorexia and rise of body temperature. Congestion of nasal and buccal mucosa with appearance of nodular eruption on the oral commisure was also observed. Old animals showed clinical signs viz partial anorexia, rise in body temperature and severe lesions on the muzzle and lips. All clinical cases were treated with Iong acting Enrofloxacin and Meloxicam with Paracetamol along with supportive therapy. Out of forty reported cases thirty nine (39) animals responded well and returned to normalcy within 3–6 days, except lesion on oral commissure.
