A five year old crossbred dog was presented with a swelling at submandibular region and on the ventral aspect of tongue. Exploratory puncture of swelling revealed blood tinged saliva like fluid which was mucoid in character revealed cervical mucocele together with sublingual mucocele. The mandibular and sublingual salivary glands were transected under general anaesthesia. The capsule of gland, muscles and subcutaneous tissue were sutured and skin apposed. Dog showed uneventful recovery.
