Hepatobiliary dysfunction was recorded in six dogs. Haemato-biochemical values and ultrasonographic examination of liver showed marked improvement during treatment. Out of six cases with hepatobiliary dysfunction, five cases showed marked improvement in clinical condition by 16th day, although one case died inspite of treatment.
Canine, hepatobiliary dysfunction, silymarin, supportive therapy
