Abstract

A German shepherd male dog aged five years was presented with history of fighting with king cobra snake in the garden. Dog showed protruding tongue, dull, depressed, abnormal gait, hind limb weakness with recumbency. The animal was successfully treated with anti snake venom, fluid therapy, corticosteroid, nervine tonic and antibiotics.
