Three pups with canine parvo virus infection reported for treatment with history of anorexia, vomition and bloody diarrhoea. Clinical examination revealed severe dehydration. Haematological examination revealed sub normal haemoglobin, erythocyte count and PCV. Biochemical parameters were within normal range. All animals were treated with fluid therapy (DNS and Ringers lactate) for restoration of electrolytes and fluid balance and antibiotics (Ceftriaxone/Ciprofloxacin) for seven days to prevent secondary bacterial infection.
