Eight Murrah buffaloes naturally exposed to Lantana camara while grazing were presented for treatment. The animals developed exudative dermatitis on dorsal part of body following exposure to sunlight. Haemato-biochemical parameters revealed significantly lower total erythrocyte count, haemoglobin, serum total protein content and albumin. The total serum bilirubin, aspartate amino transferase (AST), alanine amino transferase (ALT) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) values were significantly higher as compared to healthy buffaloes. Significantly lower values of plasma Vitamin C were also recorded.
