A two month old dachshund pup was presented with facial swelling, pustules on face and neck region and lymphadenopathy for past three weeks. Clinical parameters were within normal range except pale mucous membrane and elevated temperature. Cultural examination from lesion didnot reveal any bacterial organisms. Cytologic examination of lesions revealed pyogranulomatous inflammation with no microorganisms and condition was diagnosed as juvenile cellulitis. Animal was successfully treated with glucocorticoids and cephalosporins.
