Five rabbits were presented with complaint of itching on legs, eyes, tail and ears. The history revealed overcrowding, poor housing and malnourished. The microscopic examination of skin scrapping revealed high density of adult Sarcoptes scabiei along with eggs. The injection ivermectin was given to affected rabbits subcutaneous @ 400 μg/kg body weight every 7th day on three occasions. All the rabbits recovered completely after four weeks confirming efficacy.
