Abstract

Four goats showed alopecia, crusts at sternum, tail, caudal and cranium-medial facets of the hind legs with moderate itching. Chorioptes spp was identified in skin scrapings. Goats were treated with external application of amitraz and parenteral administration of ivermectin @ 200 μg/kg body weight at weekly interval along with supportive therapy. The lesions were improved after one week of therapy. Complete disappearance of lesions was observed after one month of therapy.
