Abstract

Two crossbred calves were presented with history of lacrimation and abnormal appearance of eye due to fleshy mass attached to cornea. The clinical diagnosis indicated presence of corneal dermoid and surgically excised by superficial keratectomy. The operated animals showed marked improvement in lacrimation, functional development of eye and general behavior within 3rd day of keratectomy and uneventful recovery within 10th post-operative day.
