A eight year old spitz dog was presented with semisolid freely movable mass anterior to shoulder joint on the right side. Radiograph of thorax revealed no lung metastasis. Fine needle aspiration biopsy revealed large number of lipid globules along with cells. The tumour mass was excised suirgically and subjected to histopathological examination confirming lipoma. Animal recovered uneventfully with no recurrence of tumour over a period of 6 months.
