The study was conducted on 20 canine males and female patients affected with genital tract tumours. In group I, ten dogs with benign tumours, in group II five dogs with malignant tumors were selected and treated surgically. In group III, five dogs with malignant tumors were treated surgically along with Vincristine sulphate @ 0.025 mg/kg b.wt. I/V weekly for two doses. The dogs were followed up for three months. All the five dogs in group III show no recurrences, however mild alopecia and vomiting were observed, where as in group II, one dog showed recurrence three months after surgery. Surgery along with anti-neoplastic therapy using Vincristine sulphate was found to be most effective therapy for treatment of genital tract tumours in canines.
