Therapeutic Management of Transmissible Venereal Tumor and Cheyletiellosis in a Dog

Concurrent Transmissible Venereal Tumor (TVT) and cheyletiellosis was managed therapeutically in a mongel dog. The dog was presented with complaint of alopecia in dorsal body surface and blood mixed urine discharge. Clinical examination revealed seborrhoea, dandruff and alopecia of dorsal midline however bulba glandis region of penis showed cauliflower like growth. Treatment was instituted with inj. Vincristine sulfate @ 0.025 mg/kg, inj. Ivermectin @ 0.2 mg/kg and parenteral vitamin supplementation. In addition, dog was treated topically with therapeutic shampooing. Dog showed progressive recovery and recovered completely on day 21^st for TVT and day 15^th for cheyletiellosis.
